Château Musar 2017, Bekaa Valley – Lebanon 1 x 75cl, the world famous Château Musar is a bewitching creation that continues to cast a spell over wine lovers everywhere. The 2017 vintage a bright ruby colour and there are sweet red cherries, mulberries and plums on the nose with a hint of tea tree and liquorice. The tannins are soft and well-integrated and this vintage has good acidity, depth of fruit and a long finish. Cellared well, it will age beautifully for decades. The Federalist Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend – USA 1 x 75cl, this aged blend includes Merlot, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes which make for a wonderful full-bodied wine, full of rich black fruit flavours and supple tannins. It is made using Federalist’s unique process, where the wines are aged in barrels for six long months, to give them the thick flavour and character and are then kept in Bourbon barrels for another 6 months to give the wine it’s unique and famous character. Robert Oatley Signature Cabernet Sauvignon – Margaret River Australia 1 x 75cl, a full flavoured yet finely structured Cabernet of great appeal: black berries, dried leaves and fine gravelly tannin. Climatically the Margaret River is Australia’s most reliable wine region, not to mention one of its best known, Margaret River is the ideal home for the Bordeaux varietals Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, producing distinctive wines of powerful structure and finesse. Grapes for the Robert Oatley Signature Series Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from the northern regions of Margaret River: Wilyabrup, Carbunup and Cowaramup, were harvested at ideal flavour and tannin ripeness, fermented then matured for twelve to fifteen months in French oak.
